Crazy Weekend/Lazy Weekend

Last weekend was crazy.

Friday after work I met up with Scott and his work people in the city to play hipster mini golf. They had organized a 2 hour unlimited drinks and food package, with a caddy waiter, so you can probably imagine what that was like. (A: FUN).

Saturday we went to the hospital to meet our newest nephew, Myles. He’s p cute. Then later we went to Simon’s 40th birthday party at a pub near our house. That was also lots of fun. Simon (cousin) and Brett (older bro) and Scott are all very close in age, and grew up together, so there was lots of old pictures of them in the slideshow, which I enjoyed.

Sunday I went to Penny’s house for Stitch n Bitch. We hadn’t managed to have one for a while so it was nice to catch up. We had a lovely lunch and some wine, and I worked on a secret non-traditional cross stitch project. :D Then Scott picked me up and we went to the usual Sunday night family dinner with 8 adults and now 5 children. O_O

Yeah that’s like 5 times as much activity as I usually do, so this weekend we purposely planned nothing and slept in until 9:30am and bummed around. Was also great.

We did go out for brunch, but it was only about 250 metres away from our apartment hahaha. I’ll do a proper review of it soon because it was really yum.

We watched a couple of James Bond movies, and a heap of Curb Your Enthusiasm (preparing for the new season!!! CAN’T WAIT!!!). I cross stitched, and Scott finished a few more granny squares.

PS do you like my new shirt? I think it’s pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.
